There's a place on Ocean Avenue...

Sometimes songs pop up when my iPod's on shuffle that just make me stop and listen. Songs I used to listen to all the time but haven't heard in ages, like "Ocean Avenue" or Jimmy Eat World or... you know.

Sometimes I get piano music, the stuff I used to study to, or a piece I've played in the past. A few days ago, it was part of the audio recording of The Red Badge of Courage. Then I wonder why this stuff is still on my iPod.

Sometimes I contemplate updating my iPod and deleting the songs I no longer listen to, but then there are moments like these. Moments where I'm not rushing and just take a moment to remember the past.

A lot has changed since then.

Sijia and Danielle got me a replacement-Clyde, but there just isn't that same connection. I'm not sure if I'm kidding or not.

Only fourteen days of school left. I must admit, I'm a little sad about that.
